Mediumship is the term we use to understand the energy flow and connection between us and the other world or possibly worlds, energies that have passed from this world to the other side. Notice I say energies as anything that has been living is energy, which includes animals and all other living things. I use the ability of Mediumship to give people here understanding of their loved ones that have passed over. The energy I use I term love, not the human physical love, but the higher vibration that we can all connect with, an all encompassing love which beats in our hearts and informs us of our souls progression, that part of ourselves which goes from this world to the other side. Mediumship is different to Clairvoyance as with Clairvoyance we can, and do, interact with that ability all the time, it informs us of our world and keeps us safe within it. With Mediumship we need those on the other side to want to connect with us and that can never be guaranteed although most of the time it happens. I understand how different it feels to work in both states of mind, this difference is hard to put down or say in words, which is why no one can train someone to be a medium, just understanding things the same as them, as we all feel things differently and see things differently, we can give the person an understanding but no two people will ever see things the same way ever, as we all grow up with different views and perceptions of the way we see things, as we all individuals and should be so. How I see or more importantly feel the difference is that I get an energy build up behind me that goes from the soles of my feet then up my back and into my head, this energy is like nothing else I experience in this world, so that for me is the feeling of Mediumship, some other people I have trained and know have said they experience something different but similar, some experience something quite different. When we work as Mediums we need to trust implicitly the connection, as it will never let us down, if only we trust it. I say to people, when learning to be a Medium, say what you see, feel, hear or think no matter how silly it is. Over the years I have given lots of demonstrations and readings, were I could have dismissed something strange or silly, as “just my imagination” and in doing so would have not given something to the person I was working with, which was so uniquely part of the person on the other side. An example of this would be a message I gave to a women once in an audience demonstration, I don’t remember things I have said normally in a reading but the things I have to stop to think about and the strange things I get I can usually recall. I was in the process of giving this lady information about her life now and in the past and suddenly I found a picture in my head of a Disney Donald Duck with an arm missing. I puzzled over this for a few seconds and was going to dismiss this as I received no further information about the picture, but then a voice in my head said no I had to say what I saw. I relayed to the lady the picture I had in my head and she started to fill up with tears as it related to her young son who had passed over and that was his favourite toy, I then proceeded to give her information of how he had passed and that he was ok. If I had dismissed that picture then the information I had given would have been good but this addition of the picture, the child had given me in my head, had given her proof it was her son and that he was all right. Now some people could say that I picked that out of thin air, guessed it or all things the sceptics say but to her and me it was again proof that we do survive and we can reconnect with our loved ones on the other side. I don’t dismiss the sceptics as “nutters”, just because they have a different opinion to me, I just wish they would reciprocate the respect I give them to have that opinion and let me have my own opinion. I find it hard to understand how we Humans can be so arrogant as to say nothing else can survive in other worlds, either ones we can see or the ones we cannot see, just because we tend to judge everything by our own perception and reality, one day we will see that not everything lives within the laws of our understanding of our universe. There are always more questions than answers and will be, we will never know everything, and possibly we shouldn’t, sometimes we just have to accept, Pooh Bear, “Just is”

The way I interpret the things I receive is with my own unique library bank of words, pictures, feelings and thoughts. Just imagine you are learning things again at school and you learn that A is for Apple, when you grow up then you realise that there are many types of apple so when I get my unique smell of Cancer, for instance, then I have to  learn what the different types of cancer are and I do that by connecting with this world and the next to increase my understanding of those different types, by having the smell and then understanding the feeling and the pain in the different parts of my body, to denote the different types of cancer in the different parts of the body of the person that is connecting with me. Dogs can also smell cancer long before we can diagnose it and we use them nowadays to help treat people. This unique Library is why its hard to teach anyone Mediumship the way we individually do it, they have there own unique library, and in teaching them, you have to connect with there thoughts, feelings, words and pictures transfer them into yours and then re-translate them to the colleague to make sense of them, it is a bit like being a language translator without a dictionary. I always respect the other side, so they will help me, as without them I cannot do the Mediumship job I do.
